What happens when the greatest source of life becomes the biggest threat to living? Exposed documents a rare disease called Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), characterized by an “intense allergy to sunlight." After surviving half a century, one woman continues to find meaning in the absence of light.

Music & Memory is a short documentary that explores the power of music for managing dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. Local music therapist Harry Beckett has led sessions in and around Columbia, Missouri, for nearly 15 years.

Musical memory is stored differently in the brain, allowing us to retain and retrieve the words to certain melodies even amid memory loss. It also carries an emotional connection in our brains, enhancing its long-term storage.

“Gaze” takes a meta approach to the embodied experience of the male gaze. Inescapable and predatory, this phenomenon affects the way in which women internally visualize themselves and outwardly interact with the world.
